Australian Alpine Skier

I’m Louis Muhlen-Schulte. I am an Alpine Skier representing and competing for the Australian National A team.

I was born In Melbourne, Victoria but moved to a small country town in North East Victoria called Harrietville. This was where I spent some of the most formative years of my life. Located at the base of Mount Hotham my love for mountains and skiing quickly grew and prospered. 

Currently, I am ranked in the top 85 in the world in Giant Slalom and the top 170 in Slalom. 

But what do I want to achieve? 

I want to compete for my country on the highest stage. Not only that, but I want to be competitive with the very best while doing it. 

During the 2022 season, I chose to specialize and focus on Giant Slalom and Slalom competing at the World Cup level and in Europa Cups across Europe.

The work I’ve put in over the years to be eligible to compete at this Elite level is paying off, I am regularly qualifying for starts. 

Now that I’ve had a taste of what it takes to be an  Olympian and a World Class athlete, I am going to continue to push hard  to put myself in a position to contend for a medal at the 2026 Winter  Olympics in Cortina and a World Cup Globe.
